Bio

Rosalie Kuta, 87, of Beatrice died at the Beatrice Community Hospital on Sunday, January 11, 2015. She was born on May 5, 1927 at Columbus. She moved to the Beatrice State Developmental Center in 1937, lived in Hebron for a short time and moved to Mosaic in 1977. She worked in the janitorial department at American Tool and the Sheltered Workshop and the kitchen at Mosaic. Her hobbies included embroidery, listening to Patsy Cline and watching Christmas movies. She was one of 14 children, five boys and nine girls. She was preceded in death by her parents, John J. and Catherine Kozak Kuta and her siblings. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Mosaic Chapel of Beatrice with Chaplain John Sipf officiating. Burial of the cremains will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Columbus at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday. Cremation has taken place and there will be no viewing. Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
