Fremont Tribune (NE) - Tuesday, April 9, 2013 Cheryl L. Gaul, 56, of Fremont died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at her home in Fremont. She was born Dec. 29, 1956, in Fremont to Darrell and Mary Ann (Fiala) Herre. She was raised in Fremont and attended Fremont High School. She worked at Excel in Schuyler before moving to Sioux City, Iowa, in the early 1980s. While in Sioux City, she worked at IBP in Dakota City. She moved back to Fremont in 1999. She is survived by sons, Golden Hughes of Sioux City and Justin Gaul of Fort Worth, Texas; daughters, Jessica Gaul of Bagley, Iowa, and Tami Treaster of Fort Worth; mother, Mary Ann Smith of Fremont; brothers, Jeff (and wife, Tracey) Herre of Fremont, Kevin (and wife, Donna) Herre of Salt Lake City and Shawn (and wife, Heidi) Smith of Nebraska City; and a granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her father, a son and a brother. The memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with the Rev. Tom Shaw of the Church of the Nazarene in Fremont officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family.
