She was the daughter of Dr. William "Willie" Crockett Nation and Ella Viola Shafer. About 1930, she married Homer Lee Moon in Smith Co., TX. Their children were: Herbert Lowell Moon, Sr., Jerry Alton Moon and Linda Lee Moon Redfearn Delgado Reese. She was a church pianist and organist, loved to sing, dance, was an active member of the Eastern Star. She was vivacious, humorous, and always busy! After the death of Homer Lee, she married Thomas Dudley who died in 1957, and after his death she married James Moran on 28 May 1971 who also predeceased her. Her vocation was as a nurse. She worked as a school nurse and a nurse for the Dallas County Jail for many years. After retirement she and James moved to Tyler, TX to be near her son Jerry who worked for a radio station there. Later they moved to California to be near her daughter Linda. Billie and James both died in a nursing home in California and their bodies were donated to science. She is not actually "buried" here, but has been placed here because of her connection to the Moon families buried here.
