Native American Actress and Model. Born Linda Lee Moon, the daughter of a 3⁄4 Cherokee father, and English-Irish mother. She began her career as a model for Neiman Marcus in Dallas. When she first arrived in California, she was Fashion Coordinator for I Magnum , both highly exclusive department stores. Becoming an actress, she was best known for her role as "Toma" the wife of Chief Joseph in the 1975 television film "I Will Fight No More Forever." She was the sister of Herbert Lowell Moon Sr. and Jerry Alton Moon. She first married Ronnie George Redfearn, in Dallas, (who died in Georgetown, Washington DC) together they had two children Ronnie Todd Redfearn and Timothy Lee Redfearn. She next married Emilio E. Delgado, in California, after they had met on the set of "I Will Fight No More Forever." They had no children. She then married Guy Price Reese in Dallas, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys. He preceded her in death by 4 years and 1 day. They had no children. She had a recurring role in the popular TV show "Rowan and Martin's Laugh In" for many years, along with Goldie Hawn. Her standard line was: "How, Paleface!" when speaking to Flip Wilson. She was also in the movie "Omega Man"(1971) with Charlton Heston. She appeared in the TV Series "How the West was Won" in episodes 2 & 3, as "Little Tree". She portrayed "Black Shugal" in the 1977 movie "White Buffalo". She acted in "Born to the Wind" as "Prairie Woman" along with her husband, Emilio Delgado who portrayed "White Bull". She played Jessie, an alcoholic, in the 1984 Carol Burnett movie, "The Life of the Party, the story of Beatrice." She really loved being on the late-night talk shows, where she could be her "wild and funny" self! One of her favorite appearances was with Don Meredith, a fellow Dallas-ite. When she asked him if he "wanted to fool around," the audience went wild! She got high ratings! She died in a beautiful and gracious assisted living facility in Arkansas where she lived near her only grandson, Christopher Redfearn. Linda was cremated in Arkansas. Linda was unique among women. She was 5'10" tall, slender, beautiful, witty, and entertaining. She led an extremely colorful life, full of zest. She will long be remembered by those who loved and admired her. (Bio by: Jay Lance )
