June 13, 1956 Mrs. Sam (Emma) Lowe, 85 of Little Falls Minn. died June 3 and funeral services were held June 6. She was a former resident of Huron 36 Years. Her death occured at the home of her son, W.D. Lowe. Funeral services were held at the Free Evangelical Church in Freedhem, Minn.. Burial was in Freedhem Cemetery. She was born in Benton County, ia. Aug. 27, 1870 and resided in Huron S.D. 36 years before moving to Little Falls 19 Years ago. Surviving are Ruth, Merritt and W. D. Lowe, route four, Little Falls; two sisters, Mrs. M. G. Johnson and Mrs. Alice Boone, both of Huron, Mrs. C. V. Stratton, Salem Ore.. There are nine grandchildren, Seven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Georgia and Mary. Her husband died in 1953.
