Bio

Daughter of Francis Everett Amsberry of Mason County, West Virginia and Lucy Caroline Beard of Lynchburg, Bedford County, Virginia. Wife of Walter G. Frazey of Iowa; married in Custer County, Nebraska in 1893. Mother of Louella Grace Amsberry. "Mrs. Walter Frazey, after an illness of many months, died at the home of her daughter in Mason City, Friday, April 27th. Sarah Amsberry was born in Mason County, West Virginia, December 11, 1848. Came to Custer County in 1885 where she was married to Walter G. Frazey. Mrs. Frazey was converted in early life and united with the Primitive Baptist Church and possessed a lively hope of the resurrection and a happy home beyond the grave. She leaves a husband, one daughter; Mrs. F.N. Mossman, six sisters and four brothers. The funeral services were held in Mason City, Sunday, and interment made in the family burial ground on the old Amsberry homestead."
