ANTONE TRELA ANSWERS CALL Death Beckons to a Highly Respected Citizen. Antone Trela died at 3 o'clock Tuesday morning at the family home in the northeast part of town following an illness of three weeks. Mr. Trela first suffered from a sever attack of pleurisy. Later pneumonia developed and his condition had been critical for the last ten days. Mr. Trela was born at Elkavice, Poland, June 6, 1868, being 63 years old at the time of his death. He was married to Miss Antonia Bereta at Moravski, Astrova, October 21, 1895. The deceased came to this country September 6, 1904. Mrs. Trela did not come to America until June 10, 1905. The first year after their arrival in the United States was spent at Uniontown, PA. Then they moved to Columbus, Neb., where they remained for nine years. The family moved to Greeley county in 1914. They resided on a farm south of Spalding and later moved to the James McNelis farm east of Belfast. About a year ago they purchased a suburban tract of land in the northeast part of town and moved to this place last spring. Besides his wife, the deceased is survived by three daughters. They are Mrs. Frank Nealon, Miss Elizabeth Trela, and Mrs. Earl Murphy. Two sons and six daughters died in infancy. A sister of the deceased, Mrs. Walter Penkase resides at Columbus. Funeral services were held this morning at Sacerd Heart church with Father Feeney officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart cemetery. The pallbearers were D. W. Healey, Frank Moran, John Holys, T. F. Byrne, Frank Valasek, and Tom Kusiek. The latter two live near Spaulding. The funeral services were attended by a large number of friends and neighbors of the deceased. Those from out of town who attended the funeral included Frank Boruch of Fullerton, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Weizenski, John Weizenski, Mike Wilks, and Mrs. Walter Penkase, all of Columbus.
