Bio

Born March 19, 1917, in Orr, Okla., to Henry Taylor and Harriet Isabel Smith Cavins, she died Sept. 18, 2002, at the local hospital. A lifelong resident of this area, she married James Haskell Williamson on Dec. 18, 1937, in Ardmore and was a member of Zaneis First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 15, 1993; three brothers, Bob, Gene and Doyle Cavins; and three sisters, Vivian Maroney, Ada Mae Gray and Lillian Hamilton. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Ghassemi, a son, Royce Williamson, a sister, Melba Culbreth, and a brother, Bill Cavins, all of Ardmore; two grandchildren, Randall Williamson, The Colony, Texas, and Lee Ann Satterfield, Mesquite, Texas; and five great-grandchildren, Derek, Erika and Molly Williamson, Caitlyn and Bryce Satterfield. Bearers will be Keith Albin, Howard, Cavins, Travis Albin, Chuck Beard, Lavell Engle and Allen Wade.
