United States Navy David G. Truman, age 50, of Reston, VA, formerly of O'Neill, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, from kidney failure from complications of diabetes. Memorial services will be held at a later date. David Gene Truman was born to John "Del" and Verna Jean (Fox) Truman on June 19, 1962. He grew up in O'Neill graduating from O'Neill High School in 1980. He attended college in Rapid City, SD, and was in the Navy for a few years after graduating. He moved to Sterling, VA, where he worked as a manager at Pizza Hut. He was a quiet person who kept to himself. He enjoyed reading and had a love for computers. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. David is survived by his step-mother, Jean Truman of O'Neill; sister-in-law, Anita Truman of Page; nephews, Jeremiah Truman of Bristow and Aaron Truman of Fremont; also, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends from the surrounding area. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and brother, Dennis.
