"George W. James, 69, retired railroad man, died at his home here at 6 a. m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of his niece, Mrs. Emil Adams, at Travis Thursday at 10 a. m, Rev. R. F. Stewart of Travis officiating. Burial in a Rosebud cemetery. Horne in charge. His nephews will be pallbearers. Survivors are: one son, George W. Jr., Houston; a sister, Mrs. Pat Ford, Mineral Wells; a brother, B. A. James, Thorndale."
