Bio
Mary was born in Samikovice, Moravia; the daughter of Karel & Katerina (Novak) Policky. Her father died in Moravia and Mary immigrated to the U.S. with her mother arriving in New York on the 17 Mar 1891 aboard the ship "Eider". She married John Cermak in Butler county, NE around 1891. They farmed in Butler county until retiring and moving into Bee, NE. After John's death, Mary continued to live in Bee. John & Mary had children: Julia, John, Cyril and Claudia (who died before 1900).
