Bio
Services for Randall Lee Brown, 40, of Longview and formerly of Palestine will be at Norwood Heights Baptist Church with Revs. Charles Grasty and Gene Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Neches Cemetery under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory. He was born to Elvin E. and Dorothy Wedgeworth Brown. He taught at Story School in Palestine and then pursued a career in counseling before being stricken with a lengthy illness. Mr. Brown graduated from Palestine High School in 1974 and earned a bachelor's degree in history from Stephen F. Austin State University. He also earned a master's degree in special education and counseling. He is survived by his parents; wife, Iris Millette Brown of Longview; brothers, Garald Brown of Neches and Michael Van Brown of Corsicana; sister, Beverly Van Deman of Neches.
