[Obituary] Mr.Hightower was ill of Typhoid & Pneumonia at his home in Luverne on 3rd street.Mr.John T. Hightower came to Luverne last Dec. and has been running a wood repair shop. He has been a good citizen here. He died a little afternoon yesterday.The deceased leaves a wife and three children and many friends. He was a consistent member of the Methodist Church here It is believed that his spirit now enjoys a sweet repose.His,brothers and three brother-in-laws were were with him when he died and took him on the train to Brundidge, Al. This morning where the funeral service take place.He was 31 years old. He was a man who attended to his own business and let that of others alone.
