Annette Hoffman Mathes of San Marcos, Texas, passed away on September 18, 2014, at the age of 78. She was born February 20, 1936, in Bastrop County, Texas, to George and Bertha Lee (Salinas) Hoffman. Her husband, Robert F. Mathes preceded her in death on August 31, 2007. She is survived by three sons, Robert "Bobby" Mathes, Jr. and wife, Renee, Mitchell Mathes and wife, Gale Annand Johnny Mathes and wife, Mariah; two daughters, Kathy Shannon and husband, Everett and Christine Hughes and husband, Wayne; four sisters, Averill, Vinnie, Vonnie and Elizabeth-Anne; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
