Bio

Sudie E. Holland was the youngest of eleven children born to Jacob Dozier Holland and his wife Mary Adelia Caldwell Holland. The Hollands were both born in Alabama, but had moved their small family to Reliance Community, Brazos County, Texas, where that family grew. Unfortunately, when Sudie was about 18 months old, Jacob died. She was raised by her mother and grandmother along with her siblings. At age 17, she married her Prince--Samuel Carroll Prince. They had two sons and lived outside of Houston, Texas. About 1969 Sudie and Sam moved to Missouri to live close to their youngest son, Jack Holland Prince. She leaves behind her husband of over 50 years, her sons, Samuel D. Prince, and Jack H. Prince, as well as grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews. All mourn the loss of this woman they loved.
