SHINER: Della Heinrichs Lahodny, age 95, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014. She was born January 3, 1919 in Hallettsville to Edward and Lena Mueller Heinrichs. She was a member of United Evangelical Dr. Martin Luther Church, Ladies Aid, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was a nurses aide at Shiner Nursing and Rehab for 20 years. Survivors are her two sons, Donald Edward Lahodny and Glenn Lahodny (Mimi), both of Shiner; grandson, Dr. Glenn (Buck) Lahodny of College Station. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emil Joseph Lahodny; grandson, Troy Shawn Lahodny; brother, Edgar Heinrichs. Burial to follow service at Shiner Cemetery.
