Hillsboro Reporter Thursday, September 15, 2005 THEODORE PUSTEJOVSKY Mr. Theodore (Ted) Pustejovsky, 58, of Hillsboro passed away September 11, 2005, at his residence. He was born August 7, 1947, in Hillsboro, son of Dan and Flo Thompson Pustejovsky. He grew up and attended schools in Hillsboro, graduating from Hillsboro High School and Hill Junior College. August 2, 1968, he married Carolyn Kirkpatric and was a real estate broker. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Hill County Farm Bureau, KJT Society, Texas National Guard, The American Quarter Horse Association and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church of Hillsboro. He enjoyed training and racing horses, traveling with his companion, Carolyn, selling real estate and keeping his grandchildren. Ted will be dearly missed by his family and friends, but what a treat heaven is in for. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe D. and Mary Pustejovsky and Jim and Lola Thompson; and one brother, Larry Pustejovsky. Survivors include: his parents, Dan and Flo Pustejovsky of Hillsboro; lifelong companion, Carolyn Hoopingarner of Hillsboro; one son, Kirk Pustejovsky and wife, Laure, of Allen; one daughter, Angela Carter and husband, Marlin, of Grand Prairie; three brothers, Rick Pustejovsky of El Paso, Edward Pustejovsky and wife, Leah, of Carver, Massachusetts and Jim Pustejovsky and wife, Sharon, of Lake Mary, Florida; five sisters, Diane Davison and husband, Mickey, of Hillsboro, Linda Gerik and husband, Dennis, of Aquilla, Janis Markwardt and husband, Vernon, of Itasca, Susie Hargrove and husband, Richard, of Burleson and Marge Kemp and husband, Ed, of Deming, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Jordan and Evan Pustejovsky of Allen and Payton Carter of Grand Prairie; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2005, at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel in Hillsboro. Mass of Christian burial was held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2005, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hillsboro with Father Alberto Bueno as celebrant. Burial was at Fatima Cemetery near Abbott.
