Bio

Carolyn Jean Kirkpatrick, 68 formerly of Hillsboro, now of Krugerville, TX, passed through her final season of life on February 6, 2015. Born October 11,1946 in Whitney, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Elsie Kirkpatrick, and was baptized and saved at Prairie Valley Baptist Church. She grew up picking cotton in the hot Texas sun alongside her family, and although her childhood was humble, it was rich in love. She graduated from Whitney High School in 1965, and was the valedictorian of her class. She married Ted Pustejovsky on August 2,1968, and they had two children together, Angie and Kirk. Her proudest accomplishment in life was being a mother and grandmother, and she loved her children and grandchildren deeply. She held Ted's hand as he passed away in 2005, and was lucky enough to find someone special, Gene Green, to hold hers as she took her last breathe 10 years later. She is survived by her brother Thomas Kirkpatrick and his wife Kathy of Caddo Mills, TX, and her children, daughter Angie Carter and her husband Marlin of Grand Prairie, TX, and son Kirk Pustejovsky and his wife Maibel of Allen, TX; four grandchildren, Payton Carter, Jordan and Evan Pustejovsky, and Ori Rodriguez; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends she has met along her journey. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Wayne and Bobby Kirkpatrick. Her favorite holiday was Valentine's Day, and she never missed a year sending a Valentine to her children and grandchildren.
