Bio

Services for Arnold O. Lehmann, 88, of Tahoka will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church in Wilson with the Rev. Nancy Lund officiating. Burial will be in Green Cemetery under the direction of White Funeral Home in Tahoka. He died Wednesday, March 12, 2003, in Lubbock. He was born Oct. 17, 1914, in Thorndale. He was baptized in the Lutheran church on Nov. 22, 1914, and confirmed July 29, 1934. He married Betty Yates on Nov. 6, 1938, in Thorndale. She died March 25, 1955. He moved to Lynn County from Thorndale in 1948. He was a farmer and retired in 1980. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wilson. He was preceded in death by a son, Glenn; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild. Survivors include two sons, Melvin of Tahoka and Clifton of Lubbock; three daughters, Arnell Finley of Rochester, Wash., Earline Bagby of Post and Reda Abbe of Wilson; a sister, Amelia Noack of Thorndale; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
