Bio

Sara Lee Lucas McKinney Cate, was taken from us during emergency surgery, she never woke. Her heart just could not withstand the stress any longer. All her life she had battled problems with her heart, even though she had a weak heart she had a very big heart by showing her love and affection for her children, grandchildren and family, she showed her love to everyone. Even though a small woman she had the personality and glow of a giant. She is preceded in death by husband Ira H. Cate. She is survived by four sons, Robert McKinney, of Fort Worth, Gary L Cate and Johnny D. Cate, both of Fort Worth, Sgt. George F. Cates N.J.; four daughters; Mrs. Janice Johnson of Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Beverly Smith of Fort Worth; Mrs. Frances Harris of Dallas, Mrs. Myrtle Cofer of Winnsboro, Wood County. mother; Bertha Smith Lucas; father, Robert Lucas; Sister Kathleen Copeland, Patsy Hardin; Brothers, MJ Lucas, Melvin Lucas. 16 grandchildren;Ronnie,Steve, Kenneth, Randy, Raymond,Bobby,Denny,Eddie,David,Patricia, Linda,Elaine,Georgia,Sherry,Sara,Lenora.
