Bio
John E. Fetterman, 79, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at his home in Iuka. He was born Jan. 12, 1933, to Rolla and Ella (Stubby) Fetterman in Liberal. He married Carol Joan Clements Dec. 26, 1952, in St. John. She survives. Other survivors include four daughters Debby Davis, Denver, Sherry Cade, Belleville, W.Va., Sandy King, Iuka, and Jacky Goranson, Littleton, Colo.; one brother, Gene Fetterman, Amarillo, Texas; five sisters, Deoma Stonestreet, Wilmington, N.C., Delica Fletcher, Colleyville, Texas, Delores Waybright, Forgan, Okla., Delila Walker, Texas City, Texas, and Dewila Hardin, Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Charles Fetterman; two daughters, Shelly Fetterman, and Jody Fetterman; three brothers, Walter Fetterman, William Fetterman, Vernon Fetterman; and his sister Dorothy Miller. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Larrison Mortuary at 300 Country Club Road in Pratt with the Rev. Fred Pinkerton presiding.
