Foard County News Jun 12, 1969 Last Rites for Mrs. C M Beesinger Held Monday Died Saturday age 66 Funeral Monday June 9, First Baptist Church, Crowell Cemetery. Lydia Belle Polk Born in Vernon, Jan 28, 1903, moved to Foard County, in 1907 with her parents and lived her since that time. She was married to Clarence Beesinger in Crowell 10 March 1933. Mrs Beesinger was converted and joined the Free Will Baptist Church as a young girl and served as secretary of the Sunday School for 14 years. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge. Survived by her husband, one brother Frank Polk of Lamesa, five sisters, Mrs Pearl Beesinger, Mrs Mattie Polk and Mrs Annie Little all of Crowell, Mrs Lee McClendon of Kermit and Mrs Ruby Hester of Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by one brother Tom Polk who passed away 17 May 1969.
