Bio

Ada was the daughter of Dave Elias Garrison and Mary Ann Tippen Garrison. Ada and James were married in 1885 in Missouri ROSWELL DAILY RECORD MONDAY FEBRUARY 11, 1907 PAGE 4 THE SUDDEN DEATH OF MRS. JAMES STONE Mrs. James Stone, wife of the stone mason of that name, died suddenly and unexpectedly at midnight Saturday night of apoplexy. She was but forty years of age and was supposed to be in the best of health. She was sick but for a few moments. Her death was a severe shock to her family and friends. She leaves a husband and large family of children, the youngest of who is an infant. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at three o'clock from the home on North Pecos Avenue, near the Salvation Army citadel. Elder C. C. Hill, pastor of the Christian Church was in charge of the service. Interment was made in the South Side Cemetery.
