Louise Newman, 95, long time resident of Mission, KS, passed away Monday, December 25, 2000, at her home. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday January 2, 2001, at D.W. Nwcomer's Sons Johnson County Funeral Chapel., 11200 Metacalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. Burial in Johson County Memorial Gardens. Louise was born September 25, 1905 in Farwell, NE, the last of ten children born to Andrew and Anna (Bawiec} Ziola. Louise was an accomplished violinist, and belonged to many dance clubs in her early years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Newman. Louise is survived by her nephews Leonard Ziola,, Grand Island, NE, Richard Ziola, Omaha, NE.; her nieces, Leann Powell, Nebraska, and Blance Blickman, Columbine Valley, CO, grandnephew, Patrick Smedra, Topeka, KS and many other nieces and nephews.
