Kenneth Wiese, age 65, of Shevlin, MN, died Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, N.D. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Moose Lake Township, Beltrami County, MN. Honorary bearers will be Allen Pence Sr., Allen Pence Jr., Glenn Morrison, Ralph Morrison, Bob Wilcowski, and all of Kenneth's brothers. Casket bearers will be Paul Werstlien, Shawn Newman, Jimmy Wilcowski, Randy Wilcowski, Rudy Wilcowski, Ray Wilcowski, Russell Wilcowski, and Rueben Wilcowski. Kenneth Oscar Wiese was born February 20, 1940 in Bemidji, MN to Rudolph V. and Bertha (Olson) Wiese. He attended Riverside grade school and Bemidji High School. He joined the U.S. Army and served in Germany. On October 5, 1959, he married Betty Morrison in Bemidji. It was a marriage that lasted 45 years. For most of his life Kenneth drove truck. In his early years he liked to hunt and fish, and throughout his life he maintained his love for animals. Kenneth is survived by his wife Betty, Shevlin; brothers: Jerome (Ruby) Wiese, Bemidji; Leroy (Patty) Wiese, Mobile, AL, Keith (Janet) Wiese, West Burke, VT, Douglas Wiese, Shevlin, Paul (Susan) Wiese, Bemidji; sisters: Arlene (Howard) Johnson, Shevlin, Lois Wilcowski, Shevlin, Pauline (Bob) Wilcowski, Pennington, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
