Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent Saturday, November 22, 1975 GREELEY--Mrs. Rosemary Thompson, 51, of Greeley died Friday morning at her home. She had been in failing health for three years. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Greeley's Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Walter Phelan officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. (Further funeral arrangements omitted here) Mrs. Thompson was born Sept. 10, 1924, on a farm south of Greeley, the daughter of James and Catherine Mulcahy Gray. She attended rural schools in that area and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1941. In 1941 she married Harold Stephens at Greeley. He died January 1944. On June 7, 1948, she married Harold Thompson at Greeley. The couple lived in Greeley where Mr. Thompson was employed with the Greeley County Road Department. She was a graduate of the Grand Island School of Beauty and owned and operated Rosemary's Beauty Shop in Greeley for 25 years. In 1974, she sold the shop because of poor health. Survivors include her husband; one son, Ronald Thompson of Peru; two brother, James Gray of Omaha and William Gray of Sacramento, Calif., and three sister, Mrs. Mary Neary and Mrs. Catherine Dugan, both of Omaha, and Mrs. Irene Racicky of Greeley. Besides her first husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
