Louise E Ruzowski Franklin B (b. 1930 CO) ----------------------------------------- Obituary of Amelia Philbrick Amelia T. Philbrick died recently at Glenwood Springs, Colo. She was 80 years, four months and eight days old at the time of her death. Mrs. Philbrick took seriously ill while visiting a granddaughter at Basalt, Colo., and was hospitalized for a short period of time. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Ord Christian Church with the Rev. J. H. Schroeder officiating. Burial was in the Ord City Cemetery. During her early life she took a homestead near Marin, S.D., where she met Benjamin Philbrick. They were married Dec. 14, 1914 at Fairfax, S.D. In 1918 they moved to Valley county where they resided on a farm in the Ord vicinity. Mr. Philbrick preceded her in death in 1962. Since Mr. Philbrick's death she had made her home with a daughter in Montrose, Colo. She was also a faithful member of the Ord Christian Church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Viola Hopkins of Montrose, Colo.; two sons, Harold of Grants Pass, Ore., and Franklin of Montrose, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Gerold of Corvallis, Ore.; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
