Buda Plain Dealer, Thursday, 25 July 1935 ORREN A. ZINK Orren A. Zink was born near Buda, Illinois, April 9, 1870, and passed away in Sheffield, Illinois, July 20, 1935, at the age of 65 years, 3 months and 11 days. He lived in and near Buda until 1902 when he went to Minnesota for a few years. He came back to Buda, and in 1911 went to Van Tassell, Wyoming. Living in Wyoming and Nebraska until September, 1933 when, on account of poor health, he returned to Illinois. He was the son of George and Catherine Thompson Zink, and one of a family of seven children. The parents, three brothers and one sister preceed him in deth. One sister, Mrs. W. H. Stutzman, and his twin brother, Warren A. Zink, both of Buda, are all of the immediate family living. He was married to Bessie Hand of Sheffield February 18, 1896. To this union two children, Mrs. Larson of Wyoming, and George O. of O'Neill, Nebraska; two grand daughters, children of Mrs. Larson, are left to mourn his passing. A grandson passed away in 1934 (Mrs. Larson's son). The funeral was held in Sheffield Monday, July 22, at the C. F. Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Fleming of the Congregational church was in charge of the service. He was a member of Buda Masonic lodge, and the lodge held their service at the Sheffield cemetery where interment was made. Bearers were G. W. Akin, H. H. Arms, F. E. Johnson, J. N. Arnold, Grant Roberts and R. E. Davis. Relatives from Buda and Kewanee were present at the funeral.
