Bio

Mary was the young daughter of Bryant Gilmore and Charlotte Wilson. Her parents moved to Texas from Mississippi in 1855. Mary was the first child born in Anderson County to Bryant and Charlotte. She is identified as one of the earliest persons buried in Muse Cemetery and has the oldest gravestone. Her grandparents were Nancy Gulley, Jacob Gilmore, Elizabeth Thompson and Ephraim Wilson.
