Victoria—Rose Mary Kleiber Nicely, 77, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014. She was born in Victoria on October 16, 1936 to the late Adolph and Hermine Pavlu Kleiber. Rose was a bookkeeper with Lack's Store and a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Cathedral. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Denzil C. Nicely of Victoria; daughters, Margaret Nicely Crowe of Georgia, Linda Aiken Vandale of Victoria; son, Donald Nicely of Victoria; sisters, Hermine "Candi" Peterson, Jeane Kleiber and Millie Sweeney; grandchildren, Annette Garcia, Charles Aiken, Tiffany Bias, Renee Deyton, Donald Nicely, Kelly Ryan; 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Darst and a son, Curtis Nicely. Burial will follow services at Resurrection Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Aiken, Donald Nicely, DeWayne Deyton, Wade Ryan, Bayne Midg and Jason Blanton. Arrangements entrusted to Grace Funeral Home.
