Hopper, Alma Ellen Alma Ellen Hopper - Pueblo Chieftain - June 19, 2005 - Alma Ellen Hopper, 93, passed away June 17, 2005. Survived by her children, Mary Ellen Hopper of Pueblo and Kenneth (Nellie) Hopper of Denver; siblings, Martha Best of Enid, Okla., Louis Kibel of Canon City, Clara (Charles) Flowers of Nucla, Colo., and Arthur (Frankie) Kibel of Ca–on City; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dallas Hopper on Sept. 9, 1981; children, J.D. Hopper, Frank Hopper and Lavon White; parents, Charlie and Daisy Kibel; and nine siblings. Alma was born July 21, 1911, in Mildred, Colo. She was employed as a practical nurse. A member of Cactus Star Rebekah Lodge No. 2, Fidelity Chapter No. 144, Order of Eastern Star and Pueblo Charter Chapter ABWA. Viewing from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2005, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
