Funeral services for John Paul Hajek, 37, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2002 in St. Johns Catholic Church with Rev. Robert Williams as celebrant. Born July 26, 1964 in Ennis, the son of Johnnie Lee and Mary Ann Jakubik Hajek, he passed away May 25, 2002 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. He is survived by his parents Johnnie and Mary Ann Hajek of Ennis; brother and his wife Dennis and Kim Hajek of DeSoto; two sisters and their husbands Deborah and David Maki of Duncanville, Cynthia and Garland Marshall of Ennis; three nieces, two nephews and one great-nephew. Interment followed in the St. Josephs Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
