Texas Coaster, July 25, 1957: Final rites were held Tuesday afternoon from the St. John's E and R Church for Henry G. Wruck, with Rev. Robert Mohr of Beasley officiating. Mr. Wruck came to Rosenberg from Damon where he had lived most of his life. He had been ill for the past six months and passed away in a Houston hospital Sunday afternoon. He was sixty years of age at the time of his death and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Wreck of Rosenberg; three sons, Merle, Gerhardt, and Harvey of Damon; three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Fleming of Damon, Mrs. Stanley King of Lake Jackson, Mrs. W.B. Shelton of Galveston; three sisters, Mrs. Christine Kunde of Freeport, Michigan, Mrs. John Reiner and Mrs. Sophie Ringsrude of South Dakota; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ray Dunn, Herbert Reeh, Richard Galler, Bennie Richter, Arthur Manning, Louise Bertram, Bill Curtis, and Jake Yelderman. Interment was made in the Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Garmany-Janca Funeral Home.
