Bio
LOUIS J. PATEK, SR., 76, died peacefully in his sleep on July 5, 2014. Louis was born on October 3, 1937 in Shiner, Texas to Jim an Albina Patek. He was a devout Catholic and an Honorary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus Council 8960 in Pearland. Louis is preceded in death by his loving wife, Geraldine Migl Patek. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Sharon and Ralph Aulds, Jr., Jo Ann and Kevin Laitkep, Donna and Charlie Rizzo, Gina and Tom Axtell, Pam and Jamie Finklea and Louis and Kelley Patek, Jr.; grandchildren, Blake and Brooke Aulds, Trey, Zachary and Kailey Laitkep, Samantha and Nicole Rizzo, Kyndal and Landon Finklea and Ruby and Ava Patek; and a host of relatives and friends. Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, July 10, 2014 at SouthPark Funeral Home, 1310 North Main St., Pearland, Texas 77581. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 11, 2014 at Mary Queen Catholic Church, 606 Cedarwood, Friendswood, Texas 77546.
