Bio

On 26 May 2012 Find A Grave contributor Finding Family provided the following information: Gus was living in Georgetown, TX when he enlisted and was a member of the 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on June 3, 1951. Corporal Schneider was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
