Mary 2nd marriage information on husband. John Lacey (Leslie?) (A. J. Raincaddy) Ronchetti on 10/11/1921 Justice of the Peace in Kirksville Adair County MO. Knoxville Express, Thursday Oct. 11 1945; John Rofchetti (Yes this was how it was spelled in the paper!) John Rofchetti, a former resident of Knoxville and Lovilla, died at the Dr. Bell hospital in Pleasantville yesterday, aged past 80 years. The deceased was employed as a summer janitor for the Rev. Father Paul C. Albers, at the St. Anthony church, and also tended the fires in cold weather at the sale barn. Funeral and burial will be at Lovilla. From Bybee & Davis Funeral Home ; we provided part of the services after Mr. Ronchetti's death. We, the current owners, did not own the funeral home in 1945, but we do have some of the records from that time. Here is the information we have:Born 7/20/1869 in Italy, Died 10/10/1945 from pneumonia as a result of smoke inhalation from a house fire, He was widowed at the time of his death; his wife's name was Mary Allen (Smead) Ranchetti. He worked as a coal miner, his personal items were signed for by John Smead. Apparently all our funeral home did was prepare the body to be shipped. It looks like we may have taken him to Zimmerman Funeral Home (no longer in business) in Lovilia where they performed the services and burial.
