''''''''''' Evening World-Herald (Omaha, Nebr.), April 30, 1923, p. 2, col. 6 VOBORIL, VETERAN POLICEMAN, DIES James H. (Jimmy) Voboril, 63, one of Omaha's first traffic officers, died late yesterday afternoon at his home, 1420 South Nineteenth street. He had been ill several weeks. He had been on the police force twenty-three years. When the police traffic squad was organized, Mr. Voboril was assigned to the Sixteenth and Harney intersection and directed traffic there six years. During the past four years he had been patrol conductor. Surviving are three sons and four daughters, Joseph, Edward, John, Mrs. Frank Machal, Mrs. Rose Pfeffer, Mrs. Julia Peters, and Miss Amelia, all of Omaha. The funeral has been tentatively set for 9 o'clock Wednesday morning from St. Wenceslaus church. NOTE: A photograph of Mr. Voboril was published with the obituary.
