Bio

He married Elizabeth Grigsby after Jul 1870 in Scott County, Arkansas. They divorced bef 1877 when he married Theodosia Strode in Collin County, Texas. His death information was provided by a Billie Barrett Russell in her book Twelve Branches. He and Elizabeth had two sons: John B.and Robert Russell. He and Theodosia had eight children: Mary Ann, Tolley Adolphus, Lillie Gertrude, Alonzo Newton, Audria (Audrey), Daniel James, William Nelson, and Velma Lee. He and Theodosia moved to Oklahoma between 1897 and 1904. In 1910 he and his wife plus three of their children lived in Mangan township, Comanche, Oklahoma.
