Billie Ann Thompson Services for Mrs. Billie Ann Thompson, 59, of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M, Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donny Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas. Mrs. Thompson passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014, in Gilmer. Billie was born on January 31, 1955, to Bill Wingfield and Dixie Ann Mummey Wingfield. She married Danny Thompson on September 17, 1976 in Gilmer and was the activity director for Holly Lake Ranch. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Danny Thompson of Gilmer; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Lauren Thompson of Longview, Wesley and Jennifer Thompson of Gilmer; mother and stepfather, Dixie and Bill Montgomery; brothers, Jessie, Sammy, Herschel and Ronnie Wingfield; sister, Penny; grandchildren, Zac, Sydney, Chance, Matthew, Elisabeth, Audrey, Samantha and Tiffany Thompson. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Wingfield and brother, Frankie Wingfield. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 3, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
