Penny Rae Wingfield Harles July 14, 1965 - September 12, 2023 McWhorter Funeral Home Funeral services for Penny Rae Wingfield Harles, 58, of Gilmer, will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 17, 2023, at McWhorter Funeral Home with Brother Michael Phillips officiating. Interment to follow at Grice Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Saturday. Penny was born July 14, 1965, in Bakersfield, California to Bill Wingfield and Dixie Ann Mumey and passed from this life on September 12, 2023, in Galveston, Texas. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, William "Bubba" Harles; daughters, Samantha Thompson, and Tiffany Thompson; brothers, Hershell Wingfield (Stacie), Sammy Wingfield, and Ronnie Wingfield (Tommy Keel); grandchildren, Paisley and Presley Demoville, and Henry Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Frankie Wingfield, Billie Thompson, and Jesse Wingfield.
