Bio

Jesse Samuel Smith married, 11 December 1916 in Milam Co., TX, Laura Josephine Brinkley. They had 2 known children, Emmett Samuel (1925-1927, interred at the Gause Cemetery, Milam Co., TX) and Theo Smith (born 22 March 1921). The date and place of Jesse's death is not known. Per his WWI Draft Registration Card, he was born 9 Dec 1893. It is believed that Jesse died before 1924, but I have found no proof. Some family trees on Ancestry show he died in Upson Co., GA in 1924, but the birth date they show is May 1891 and I have found no GA Death Certificate that matches that information. I do not believe it to be the same Jesse Samuel Smith. Note: Laura married, abt 1924, Walter Edward Pehl.
