Herald Coaster, June 25, 1989: Funeral services for Edmund P. Hein, 75, of Rosenberg, were held 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, at Garmany & Carden Chapel in Rosenberg. Tony Ventruella officiated, with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Mr. Hein died Sunday at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond. He was born Jan. 12 1914 in Burton. Pallbearers were Wilbur Hein, Leonard Hein, Greg Hein, and Paul D. Hein. Honorary pallbearers were Matt Hein and Sean Hein. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Hein of Rosenberg; two sons and their wives, Wilbur and Frances Hein of Rosenberg and Leonard and Jan Hein of Angleton; three grandsons, Paul D. Hein and Gregory Hein, both of Rosenberg, and Matt Hein of Angleton; a great-grandson, Sean Hein of Rosenberg; and a great-granddaughter, Keliegh Hein of Rosenberg. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice. Services were under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
