William "Bill" Divin, 73, of Ennis, passed away at Legend Oaks on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2014, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday May 21, 2014, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Fr. Henry Drozd and Fr. Antonio Ormaza Concelebrating. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Ennis. William was born in West, Texas, to the late John and Rosalie (Urbanovsky) Divin. He married Frances Marusak on April 28, 1962, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Ennis. Bill was a devout and dedicated member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, serving as Eucharistic Minister and in altar service. He was also a member of CRHP, Golden Crusaders, KJT, Knights of Columbus, and SPSJT. Bill owned and operated a plumbing business in Ennis for over 30 years. He loved Czech music, fishing, dominoes, baseball, and taroky. Bill was preceded in death by his sisters: Helen Sulak, Lydia Divin, and Mildred Divin. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Frances; son, Chris Divin and his wife, Ava; daughter, Erin Vaughan; grandchildren: William "Blake" Divin and his wife, Logan, Brianna Divin, Faith Vaughan, Chance Vaughan, Tanner Vaughan, Copper Brasier, and Jerry Locke; four great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny Divin and his wife, Lil; sister, Emily Minor and her husband, Ken; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
