Thelma Lourena Jones GRANTSVILLE — Thelma Lourena Jones, 90, of Linn, WV, died Thursday, January 12, 2006, at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, Weston, WV. She was born in Gilmer County on June 30, 1915, a daughter of the late Ethnie Adams and Bertha Queen. She married Virgil Jones on November 15, 1932, who preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Manoka D. Turner of Linn, with whom she lived, and Rita Jones Hardman of Marietta, Ohio; one brother, Myron Adams of Brookville, Ohio; one sister, Alta Hammon of Wadsworth, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were two sons, one daughter, one granddaughter, four brothers and six sisters. Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, on Saturday, January 14, 2006, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Collins Community Cemetery, Stumptown, WV. Visitation will be held two hours prior to service time. Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville.
