Bio

Dathon Drake, 95, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014. Service: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Dathon worked 35 years at the Hotel Texas, where she checked in the Kennedys. She loved her family, game shows and the Texas Rangers. Survivors: Daughter, Kay Gross; son, Chris Drake; sister, Audine Loftin; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
