Obituary provided by Carolyn Brinkmeyer : Herald Coaster, February 19, 2004 Funeral services for Nelrose Zwahr, age 77, of Needville will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 18, 2004 at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 17, 2004 at the Davis Chapel in Needville. Mrs. Zwahr was born July 3, 1926 in Fairchilds to Willie and Alma Deiss Kramer, and passed away Monday Feb. 16, 2004 in Richmond. She was a homemaker and a member of the Women's Guild at Immanuel United Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by brothers Edwin and Melvin Kramer; and sister Polly Faijkus. She is survived by sons Bobby Gene Zwahr of Needville; and Ricky Edward Zwahr of Damon; daughter Rita Kay Hedt of Needville; brother Alvin Kramer of Richmond; and sisters Willa Mae Skotnick of Bellville; and Adella Jaloway of Willis; nine grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd. in Rosenberg. 281-341-8800.
