Funeral services for Annie Lee Flowers Brantley, 81, or 707 Main St., Marshall, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Colonial Chapel of Sullivan Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Wyatt and the Rev. George Helton officiating. Burial will be in Colonial Gardens. Mrs. Brantley died at 8:35 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 1985, in Colonial Park Nursing Home. She was born April 27, 1903, in Harrison County, the daughter of James T. and Lillian Williams Flowers. She attended Cave Springs and Marshall Public Schools and married Arleigh Brantley on Oct. 16, 1920, in Marshall. She was a homemaker, had previously owned and operated B&B Grocery Co. from 1950 to 1963 and was a professional babysitter. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 8, 1958 and by one son, James Brantley, on Feb 20, 1971. Survivors include a son; an adopted son; four grandchildren; one adopted grandchild; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters; and one daughter-in-law.
