Lynn Bridger was born August 30, 1928 at Lincoln, NE to Roy and Eulalia (Zuerlein) Bridger. He grew up in Nance County and attended county schools. He farmed until he entered the Army in 1951 - 1952, a veteran of the Korean War. He returned to Cedar Rapids where he farmed and then started trucking for 26 years mostly traveling across country between California and Wisconsin. On January 29, 1975 he married Margie Foland at Elko, NV. They owned and operated the Bridger Cafe and Game Room in Fullerton for eight years. For the past eight years he operated the Vermeer haying equipment dealership. He also did custom haying and livestock hauling. He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors and was a member of the Fullerton American Legion Post No. 151. He passed of an apparent heart attack on May, 10, 1996 at Litzenberg Hospital in Central City. Survivors include his wife, Margie; two sons: Roy and Matt - both at home; one stepson, Rob Foland of Fullerton; three stepdaughters: Mrs. Jerry (Debbie) Collins of Fullerton; Mrs. Chano (Becky) Guerra of Grand Island; Mrs. Jim (Vickie) Borghelinck of Fullerton; two brothers: Don Bridger of Central City and Ralph Bridger of Belgrade; one sister, Mrs. Ernest (Donna) Coufal of Plattsmouth, NE. He was preceded in death by parents and one sister, Mrs. Glenn (Arnette) Furby. Contributor: LA (46917206)
