Thanks to contributor #48796369 Rose M. Geneski, 92, of Ord died Saturday, April 22, 2000, at the Valley County Nursing Home in Ord. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord with the Rev. Jim Warner officiating. Burial will be in the Ord Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ord Memorial Chapel with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Geneski was born on June 17, 1907, on a farm west of Ord to Anton and Katherine (Pavelck) Morovaecek. She was educated at Manderson District 31 School. She married Anton Volf in 1923. The couple farmed west of Ord until he died in 1934. She married Anton H. Radil in 1938. The couple farmed west of Ord until he died in 1952. She married Paul Geneski on July 11, 1959, in Ord. The couple farmed until 1964, when they retired and moved into town. Mrs. Geneski moved to the Valley County Nursing Home in 1999. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the altar society. She also played in a pinochle club for 30 years. She enjoyed quilting, flowers and baking pies. Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn Kamarad of Comstock and Marge Grabowski of Ord; one son, George Radil of Ord; two stepdaughters, Norma Ackles of Ord and Lillian Blind of Los Angeles; two stepsons, Don Geneski of Omaha and Marion Geneski of Osmond; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; and one sister, Tillie Volf of Ord. She was preceded in death by her husbands; twin infant brothers; six sisters, Emma Radil, Helen Benben, Antonia Valla, Mary John, Bessie Penas and Anna Nevrivy; and one half sister, Katherine Cink.
