Bio
Son of Henry & Lizzie (Schutte) Loseke. He attended rural District #43 School in Colfax County. On October 28, 1936, Elmer was united in marriage to Lyda Koch in Columbus, Nebraska. They farmed in the Colfax County until 1962 when Elmer started his dirt work operation. He retired in 1984. Elmer was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Leigh. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Elmer is survived by: Daughter - Karen (Claude) Pinkley of Leigh, NE Daughter - Nyla (Neill) Miller of Jackson, NE Sister - Ruby Ackers of Ashland, NE Sister-in-law - Vera Loseke of Columbus, NE Grandchildren - Craig (Hui Chong) Pinkley, Dawn (Joe) Steggall, Linn Miller, and Terri (Steve) Bauder Great Grandchildren - Cory Pinkley, Michelle Pinkley, Ryan Steggall, Cole Miller, Hannah Bauder, and Danielle Bauder Elmer was preceded in death by: Parents - Henry & Lizzie Loseke Wife - Lyda Loseke Brother - Edward Loseke Brother - Reinhold Loseke Brother - Walter Loseke Brother - Clarence Loseke Sister - Hulda Kumpf Sister - Martha Engelbart Sister - Lottie Sander
